Swollen lymph nodes on left side of neck for over a month now, occasional pain in left ear that comes and goes since December/January, left tonsil a little bigger than right and both have white spots. Pus comes out of left tonsil when I press down on it.
No sore throat. No fever. But I’m so scared of some things that I have found with my symptoms on google. Especially with lymph nodes and tonsil asymmetry.
With Covid going on and I’m still going into the ER tonight because I’m tired of fearing what this could be. Also tired of the occasional ear pain. I just feel numb right now because I have no idea what they are going to say and also fear of the virus being there.
Feel like crap today 😔

I hope you really went to the ER! This is infectious, I think and you really need to get in there ASAP! Please take care of yourself.. I went to the dentist last week after putting off getting a tooth looked at and now i need a root canal-- going earlier is ALWAYS better-- I really hope you FEEL BETTER SOOn! Take Care, dear.. I'll be thinking of you.
Hi RyRywifey . Hope everything went well. Do you have an update? I have very similar symptoms and also a white tongue since March! For the tongue, doctors said not to worry.
Hey yes I was worried for nothing. Everything checked out fine. They told me to stop pressing on my tonsil because tonsils have fluid in them and fluid will come out if pressed and that my tonsils are completely normal. The ear pain was coming from my teeth being misaligned. I’ve since then gotten braces and slowly but surely the ear pain has been subsiding as my teeth move. Just so you know if you have wisdom teeth that are impacted, that can also cause swollen nodes and ear pain as well.
