I know this is probably normal but just need reassurance. I was on 100mg sertraline for 24 weeks but unfortunately hadn’t levelled so 8 weeks tomorrow I went up to 125 mg. have had had some really good days and about 4 weeks ago had a whole week feeling really good but last couple of days have been bad. Almost feel like I have gone right back and feel shaky, palpitations anxious panicky I fact awful. Has anyone else felt like this when going from 100 to 125

Reassurance
Try to be patient, the drug has to settle into the brain, I did very well on sertraline was on it for 10 years until I built up a tolerance, had little or no side affects, so hang in there, it will pass. Let us know how you do. Sending courage, peace, love n hugs......Sprinkle 1......
Hi there, sorry to hear about this. Sometimes the side effects can be hard to take, however, try to stick with it so that you can level off again (as long as this is what you and your medical professionals believe is best for you). You are not alone with this-- for years, when I was off and on different anti-depressants, the getting on them (and then leveling off) was often hard. Let the prescriber and therapist know about these side effects as they may have some suggestions (a temporary add on script, taking it with certain food/drink, etc.). Good luck and I hope you are feeling better.
