Hi everyone!

I'm wondering the same thing. Unlike you, it hasn't always been this way for me. The first 37 years of my life were mostly great. Can I ask if you've tried everything and I mean everything. I've been on every medication ever marketed in the United States over the last 60 years, dozens of combos, but no relief. Have you ever tried/considered ECT? It's the gold standard for treatment resistant depression. I've had 37 treatments myself with no success but the claimed success rate is around 75%. There's also Ketamine infusion, as well as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. If you haven't tried any of these I would stongly consider them. If you don't try them, you'll never know if they could have helped. Also wondering it you are working with a therapist currently. I know it's hard to find a good one, and sometimes they aren't able to help people who are in deep depression, but I see mine twice a week. Just being able to talk to someone regularly can be helpful. Best wishes.
Have tried a lot of medicines, and seems nothing works or helps! And when you don’t have family and friends,is really hard!
I feel bad for you that you are all alone, with no one to help you. Having said that, I would recommend looking into ECT (Electro Convulsive Therapy). There are all sorts of negative opinions and negative experiences that people are more than happy to share. However, ECT is considered the 'gold standard' for hard to treat depression. I have had 37 treatments myself, and although it proved to be ineffective, I really didn't have any negative experience with it, except some short term retrograde amnesia. The claimed effectiveness rate is around 75%. The hard part for you is that after each session, someone needs to be with you after the treatment for several hours, and you say you have no one around, which means you would have to go inpatient to have it done. I don't know if you work so I don't know how you would manage the sick leave which would be around 3 weeks. I guess it all depends on how desperate you are. I agree it's a tough decision, but if I were in your shoes, I'd at least look into it. I wouldn't say that if I didn't have as much experience with it as I have, and I have personally seen it work wonders on people.
