Ever feel pulsing/rush of blood to your head, with your heart beat?

So that's probably not the best explanation.

I have a long-standing heart rhythm issue (afib) that I had an ablation for almost 3 years ago and my heart has been playing up a lot in recent months.

It's got quite bad in the last week or so to the point where it sometimes takes my breath away. This is apparently perfectly 'normal' for HR issues.

But in the past few days I've been experiencing 'pulses' or like, rushes of blood type feelings in my head, each time I get an irregular beat. I know this is a bit of a grey area here, considering I have afib, but I'm struggling to work out how much of a role anxiety is playing in this too.

Perhaps even depression.

I have been struggling with health issues for a couple of years, breathlessness, digestive issues, amongst other things, that have gotten more chronic. Was also diagnosed with ME. Then a couple of months ago my wife, well... basically left me, and I've had to go part-time at work due to my health issues.

I've had pretty much every test under the sun for my issues, MRIs, x-rays, blood tests, cat scans, CT scans, nerve studies. You name it. All have come back normal.

I had a 6 day heart monitor on last year that was normal. And was due to have one last month that I cancelled, due to Covid19.

So, admittedly, I'm incredibly stressed about my health, in particular my heart and my breathing (which has become worse), and I also work in a major hospital in Covid research, as of 2 weeks ago we changed over, so there are plenty of ingredients for major stress and anxiety/depression.

But just wanted to know whether the symptoms listed above are something any of you all had experienced with stress/anxiety/depression?

Some recent symptoms that I haven't been able to get diagnosed:

Rush of blood to head/pulsing on irregular heartbeat

Tingling and pins and needless in hands and feet, mainly when overheated but also when I get too stressed.

Apologies for the very long post.

I would think a lot of this is due to stress, stress can play havoc with the body, I know been thru episodes myself. Talk to you Dr. if s/he can give you any help. Do some deep breathing with eyes closed and think of something beautiful, I think of a butterfly. Go for a walk in nature in your off time. If needed take some med's for the depression/anxiety, I am on Cymbalta 50 mg a day and it works for me. I imagine the type of work you do causes you stress, be kind to yourself, take breaks when you can. I wish you well and send love, peace & hugs..Sprinkle 1.......
