Hi Teisha

This will be for a time - not forever.

Remember that you are Precious and will come through this.

Are you doing all you can to protect yourself? Next step? Consider how you can make the best use of the time you now have at home, and channel your energy into something positive, rewarding. Spring cleaning, a neglected former hobby, learn a new craft / skill ? Is there anything you used to want to do but could never find the time? Is there an old friend or family member you have lost touch with who might appreciate a phone call? Avoid talking about the present situation and chat about happy memories - brighten up someone else's day and you will feel uplifted too.

God Bless

ps

Bake bread - see DeanSamson 's post.

You are not alone most people are in the same boat, we are in lock up and only go out with the dog for walks, at this time our food is starting to delivered from the Supermarket.

You need to square a circle and consider what you can do to keep you busy, we have a large garden and a reference library, also the television to watch. Also we come on site to talk to people.

Have you people you can e-mail or skype ? or can you go on You Tube and watch various programs. Whatever rings your bells.

Have you any any hobbies you enjoy Diverting your thoughts. onto something you need to do in the house chores

Hi Teshia! When this first started I had just got my dream job in the airlines after years of work at it.. and kapow! It’s gone for now. Almost no one isn’t affected. This will change the way we all look at things and many positive outcomes will come with it. For now we need to think about safety and survival and making sure we all get through this.. then we can worry about careers and stuff like that later. I’m mind boggled that during the hardest time in my life this has happened (Had a bad breakup that left me in terrible shape) but On the bright side I’m finally learning more about myself and really trying meditation and educating myself in that realm. The mornings absolutely kill me but at night I find some hope. I’m Off to bed but you’re going to be ok i promise !

I am sorry to hear about your job. And your so right everything going on is so anxiety provoking. It’s easy to get caught up in it if you are watching the news or reading it. Or if you go to the store and see the hundreds of panic buyers out there. But what I have found that helps is focusing on my faith in Jesus. When I put my headphones in and drown out the world with worship music it seems to heal the anxiety and replace it with peace knowing that God is still in control. I am praying for you...that you don’t allow the negativeness we see around us become overwhelming. There is hope. -Rachel
