Amitriptline and / or sertraline users please.

Hi iv taken sertraline for 6 weeks now I had muscle aches before using this however over the last 4 weeks if had terrible spine pounding/burning, and knee pain, shoulder and all over joint pain. Burning chest pain,pain around under ribs front and back.

Im slowly this week weaning off this sertraline finished last one today.

However the last 5 days I started taking amitriptline (doc thinks I may have fibromyalgia once respiritory can be ruled out, I have had 2 clear chest x Ray's but persisted to be refferred to respiritory so have being.

She said she is treating me with amitriptline as though I have fibromyalgia as that's what she has thought from start a d muscularskeletal team have addressed to her.

Every morning I'm waking up with such a funny head, and if I wake at 3 in morning which I have bein past few nights my head is so full,day and doesnt feel right.

Questions I guess how are your joints and spine when taking sertraline/coming off them

And regarding amitriptline is this affecting my feelings I'm getting in my head, does it wear off? Anyone else had this, any thoughts,advice and thankyou for your time in reading, G

I’ve found sertraline magnified muscle and joint pain I already had too. You are not alone! I’ve cut way back with my drs help and hope to get off all of it soon. I’m just too sensitive.
