Anyone ever wean off 150 mgs of sertraline?

I have been on sertraline for almost 2 years...150 mgs being the maximum I have ever taken. Has anyone ever weaned off of this med and if so, how bad was it? I am very nervous! Thanks.

I stopped taking it after 8 years of being on it and it was a pretty rough withdrawal. I went through anger, random sadness, and a variety of emotions all within the same day sometimes. It is important to have those close to you understand that you are withdrawing and to ask for a little patience during that time. I think I was ok after about 2 weeks. It is only temporary and then it will be over. Good luck.
