Hi👋I’m Andy. I’m so very sorry that you are having such a horrible time. We share these times. And I bet many others in this group are the same.

For me, it’s all about distraction. It really helps me when I get my breathing under control. Finding a quiet place, breathing in through the nose for 5, then out through the mouth for 5. This takes time until you feel your breath regulating. Distraction. I started to do word search games and crosswords. I went back to reading books. Watching box sets. All this gives your body a break from the stress of it all. Gets your strength back.

I hope that you find your way out of this. Remember that you are not alone in this. Take comfort in that.We are here.

Andy.

Do you have a therapist that can help you get to the bottom of this, you may need a short course of med's to calm your mind down. I wish you well, I know how horrible panic attacks can be. I had to wait and let them pass, thankfully have not had one in years. I wish you well, send you peace of mind, love/hugs....Sprinkle 1.....

I don’t know if you’re taking an antidepressant but at on point in my life I was taking one that gave me panic attacks. Maybe check w/your doctor to see if that’s it. I hope you get feeling better.

A talk with your dr may be needed. They could recommend therapy. Meds if needed. It , like others have said , could be short course, but enough to get you calmer again. Also, implement meditation— guided meditation now since you feel this way , and get to a place of calm. Easier said than done I know ...BUT it works !! Also, try sleeping with meditation music on. See if chamomile tea works as well. I love chamomile tea with ginger and honey . So relaxing haha. It’ll be okay. Also distracting yourself maybe painting , works too. It’s so relaxing

Have you tried meditation? It is hard for me too because I just had an increase too after ridding of them for several years. I put myself back in therapy and she sent me 6 meditation tapes via text that are on YouTube and put them on my page and I'm starting to get back into it. It was every morning at about 4 my heart started palpitations, I was anxious freaking out totally and luckily found a good Therapist after my other retired and I couldn't find one I clicked with. I set up a special area in my apartment where I can be alone with myself and my dog's and meditate. They also say focus on 8 things in the room one at a time.

Anyone ever order a Blurt Box? I have and I love it because it's a site developed for people with Anxiety. They send out boxes and I love that you don't have to subscribe. They send a box of about 6 things designed to help you cope and feel better and not alone. In fact, I may order another soon. I'm going to post what I received in a box. You can also get a smaller box or just purchase something small for yourself. My favorite is a deck of 54 cards each with reason why you matter. They are on Pinterest too and Blurt Foundation. Money goes to charity. I love it. I'm going to try and find a way to post what I've received. I don't subscribe but do order a box once every few months.

Check it out. I'll try and post a picture of some items.

Hugs everyone! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
