I bought and read part of this one, before I realized that I was actually having anxiety attacks (high anxiety state for a longer period of time) rather than panic attacks:

So the book wasn't quite right for me, but I thought it was well written.
He provides a free chapter on his site, too, so you can see if you think you like the style:
Hi shawshank, The workbook I had used was
"The Anxiety & Phobia Workbook" by Edmund J. Bourne Ph.D
You can take a look at it for free on YouTube
by looking at the workbook through the Anxiety Diaries.. xx
Search on Amazon.com and read reviews. I know I've seen some on there before.
It's good that you're working on yourself! I wish you the best!
When I had panic attacks or alike, I did the following (again, influenced by Stoic/ Marcus Aurelius ideas)
1. I took a page and wrote down by hand any worries I had. Like "I fear that insomnia will ruin my memory" or "I worry that the odd feeling will make me hurt myself accidentally" or "I can't concentrate at my job and thus fear any job related stress before it occurs" etc.
2. next column I write down my reasonable, objective observations about this worry - will I rationally do it? Should I actually worry about it considering that world is big and this problem is just happening inside my perceived imagined situation etc.
3. column - I write down my conclusions - like "I should sleep on it" or "I need a simple daily plan to fix this" or "I literally have no reason to worry about it. Even if I fail, it will have no real consequences in my life. "
.
A little off topic - to be at ease with life, you should remember that our ultimate goal as life is to expand and conquer, while our ultimate goal morally is to be honest with ourselves (it includes the 1000x times repeated trust yourself and be yourself etc.). At the end of the day no matter what and who you are, and no matter what you do, you will be respected for genuinely expressing yourself as a human being (*~Bruce Lee). Look around - who are the people we admire? Those who stay true to themselves, no matter if they are good or bad even. Do you think we admire honesty or wealth? Look at wealthy - aside from literal visionaries (Branson, Musk, Buffett, Gates) , when looking at average rich we admire their stuff, not their persons. See, how easily morale trumps over material possessions? Same you should do with your life - no matter if the thing you want to be is good or bad or will bring you riches, being genuine to yourself and others will bring the most joy not only personally, but externally as well.
Im going to be starting journaling in Building your Bounce: simple strategies for a resilient you.
