Something Beautiful 2.6.20

This is a beautiful flower on a wonderful indoor plant. I've had it for about 13 years and it's never bloomed! It was advertised as a great houseplant with big, shiny leaves as if they were oiled or sprayed. The description has fit all these years, but blooming was never mentioned!! Does it look like some kind of lily maybe? Idk what this plant is anymore. Anyone know?

Wow oh wow .. it's stunning.. kinda reminds me of an orchid flower... I have no idea what it is though.. what a thrill for you...

My mom gave me a christmas cactus 35 years ago and it finally bloomed this year for me..not once but twice!

I'm going to be posting my painted pottery for sale on my neighborhood email list. just sending a feeler out to see what comes of it. The pottery is beautiful but I'm getting so many accumulated!! Others say I could sell them so here I go!!!

Well now you just brought back a beautiful memory of my mom making pottery.. I have some of the pieces she made...can't put a price tag on those for me...I'll pass them down to my kids one day...

Nice to bump into you, Agora. Actually, it was never stated that the thing bloomed and so I never expected anything. Then these 2 shoots about 2 feet high sprouted and bloomed! What a surprise!!

Thank you for saying so...it's hard to be here and on the poetry and storywriting sites, too. I'm trying...actually the thing taking my volunteer hours is a private individual from this site. I give her several hours when she needs it. It's important that I do that. When she doesn't need me so much, I'll make time to be here more.

Thank you, Sprinkle! It jus5t happens that the entire county which is stretched out over many miles, has an agricultural extension about 1 mile down the road from me. I'm collecting a bunch of things for the expert to identify. He's quite good.
