Something different.

Anxiety and depression have been apart of my life for so long now. My mornings tend to be the worst time for me. I always awake with intense anxiety about my life and where it’s heading, I often feel overwhelmed by life’s problems. And yes, many times I’ve thought or wished my life would end.

So I posted a photo I took at (Top Of The Rock) Rockefeller Center NYC. I love photography as it gives me a pleasurable outlet to concentrate on. And NYC is my favorite subject. And my anxiety and depression seem to disappear for awhile.

I just want to share a small part of my life, something positive for a change.

Have a great day everyone.

Olivia40 I hope you can see this.

Wow shutterbug. That is gorgeous! What a shot. I love it 💕

I’m truly so sorry for how you feel. Mornings can be my worse time too,

Anxiety is dreadful and the depression that comes is awful too.

I cherish the small pleasures, coffee and cake and the trips I can make (sounds a bit poetic 😂) the photo is truly lovely,I truly hope you continue to get even more joy from photography in the future 🌺🌼🌺🌼

Thank you Olivia. I took this about two years ago. I waited three hours till the sun went down. I didn’t realize until after I posted it my name is on the lower right. Oh well. Yes photography does make me feel better, it allows me to forget all the troubles in my mind. At least for a little while.

Thank you. Hope you are having a good day. 😊🌹

oh...got ya...no I don't do that either....then they are out there in the world for anyone to use...I learned that the hard way....posted on an app used by a site some years back some of my photo's from Tahiti...had a couple ripped off and posted by another member saying they were their photos....it was just plain weird to me, I would never think of doing that....so nothing in the cloud I care about ....just random photo's here.

Thank you Olivia. But now it’s morning here, I’m getting ready for work and I’m having a difficult time. I just wish I could wake up with peace of mind. I’m so tired of living life this way. Everyday I wake up with anxiety, I mostly dwell on the fact that I’m so lonely and I’m not getting any younger, I’m scared. What happens to someone like me? But this is the life I made and only I can change it, only if I knew how Oh well I could go on. I must get going. I hope your day is going well my friend.

Take care.

Man!...that is an absolutely beautiful shot....pardon the pun...but it is stunningly picture perfect....your a great photographer with an artist's eye for color and balance ....and yes....often our art saves us from despair...

I think so too faux 😊

Looks like it would make a beautiful oil painting too.

Thank you for the kind words. I’m happy to share something that I enjoy. I’m so sorry it took so long for me to reply. I often get caught up in something else and I’m kind of scattered. My emails tend to pile up lol. But thank you again, and photography for a moment allows me to forget my troubles. New York is my favorite subject.

Shutterbug65, Great View, Great Pic. Thanks for sharing with us. xx

Hi Angora 1 I left a reply but I’m not sure if you got it. It’s posted though. 🤔

I’m very sorry for the late reply. I tend to be very unorganized, and sometimes Ill go days without checking my email, and things get buried.

But thank you so much for the compliment. Photography is a creative outlet for me and it lets me forget my troubles. At least for a little while. ☺️👍
