Zyprexa

My psychiatrist wants to take me off 1 mg of RespiDOL and put me on Zyprexa to induce weight gain. I am at 91 lbs and need to get to 100 lbs for my antidepressant Zoloft to work. Is this a big risk? Anybody experience a lot of weight gain from Zyprexa and or have a good experience with it? Does Zyprexa make you less tired the opposite of RespiDOL? Thank you so much!

The anti psychotics are pretty famous for weight gain.

I don't think you will have a problem gaining weight.

I have to battle everyday to keep it off. I feel like I have zero metabolism. I've come off two different ones to lose the weight it's put on. The weight comes right off when I stop them.

I do not know Respidol but I was on Zyprexa low dose for 3 months due to my extreme anxiety. Good news it really helped with anxiety and sleep. Not so good news (for I am already overweight) I gained big amount of weight in a short time. What is the dosage your dr prescribed?
