Klonopin is the only drug that stops my ruminations and totally calms me. Can’t take it forever though. Anyone know of any drug (anti depressant or anti psychotic) that has had the same effect on them? I know I am grabbing at straws but I am desperate. Thanks....

Yes, Tranzene/clorazepate worked the same for me exactly. I took it for GAD. A psychiatrist is educated in what drugs do what and how and why. Why not consult a psych doc? They are the experts in this field.
Your Doctor will need to discuss changing medications with you. We are all different so make your appointment
