I agree. The ones on Narcissists are very helpful and important to pay attention to. It is hard not to be fooled by some of these people. Then when you get suddenly left, like a piece of discarded trash, it can be a shock and leave you very confused. . .. and depressed, especially if you have issues with abandonment. It is wise not to trust too quickly and to be able to stay away from people who do not deserve our trust. This happened to me and I learned from the experience to be more careful and protective of myself.

Oh okay I’ll check that out for sure!!! I like Dr.Phil I didn’t even know he had a podcast. I just started listening to podcasts just with the last two weeks and I’m finding that I am enjoying them

What I like about it is he will post work sheets. It gets you actually working towards happy. I’m really enjoying it. Even if I am having a couple bad days

For the most part no, I do not. Though I do occasionally listen to one if I like the host and his guest is a fav of mine. As a guy I do like Joe Rogan. And he does have interesting guests quite often. For acidic, acerbic, biting "guy" humor I go with Bill Burr. He's not for everyone I know but he fits my style for the most part, though I am not subscribed to any. Back "in the good ol' days" of early satellite radio there were two competing networks. I went with XM because I was a fan of the "Opie & Anthony" shock jocks show. They were rivals, on the same network, of Howard Stern (whom I despised). After XM and Sirius merged everything went downhill and advertising really took off. I'm paying for a premium satellite service and they give me commercials? No way, I shut it off. So any podcast would come over computer so I can move about the house while still listening. Come to think of it though I'm more of a music person so podcasts must be quite interesting to keep my attention. OH, Star Talk Radio Show by Neil deGrasse Tyson is probably my fav at this time.

I will check out the Start Talk Radio! I do remember you sharing music is your thing. I will also check out Bill Burr and see what he has to say. I don’t mind too much for that type of humor I can take it in increments lol. There are says I need something that is just blunt

Some trivia about Bill. Though he a pale ginger from Canton, Mass. he is married to the lovely African-American actress Nia Hill who is often his guest host. He does a great bit about a white guy like him going to her neighborhood to see her when they began dating. I feel his humor is pretty accurate if exaggerated a bit of course. To me none of this matters because I like Bill, he makes me laugh. He makes a lot of people laugh, and sometimes cringe. It's part of the gig.

That's pretty awesome. I like to listen to people who are able to share humor in a way that is relatable.

I listen to podcasts for fun. If you like supernatural phenomena the podcast β€œscared to death” will be fun for you.

Talk about scary...One night, late of course, I'm on YT and come across postings under the Creepy Pasta channel. One that caught my eye was "The Sleep Experiment" because I could not sleep. Supposedly a Russian experiment with a handful of prisoners testing a gas that prevents people from going to sleep. This was not at all what I could ever have imagined. Creepy is a gross understatement. Weirded me out, for several days. Maybe just part of me being in whatever state I was in at the time but still, that one gives me the creeps. And I'm 63 yrs. old.

That sounds terrifying!

That does sound terrifying

β€’ in reply toCoralrose5

It was certainly creepy but because it was simply a story (I found out later!) and not real, and it was the 1950's Russians, I wasn't overly concerned. Still, that first time. Wow, not since a ten yr. old me on Halloween.

I don't know if you're into astrology/spiritual type podcasts but Amber Khan's Revolution Ramblings makes me smile and cry with her every time. She speaks from personal experience and is just fun to listen to. She also does tarot readings on YouTube under The Quietest Revolution.
