Sudden brain fog after exercise.

I felt brain fog after exercising little, then i got extremely tired and heavy in the head. I developed mild headache and then suddenly all of thinking stopped at once, i was blank, couldn't think or concentrate. I was just staring at my laptop screen but couldn't get anything. Then i realized that i zoned out , i faded and this fog was worse. It came without any trigger , no anxiety, no depression or stress, just by exertion. Anyone has similar experience, plz share.

Thanks.

Hi Ashfaren, Of course, we are not doctors, so always run this by your doctor first

getting his approval to exercise. However, when I was doing daily exercise, the

instructor couldn't stress enough in how important it was to hydrate after working

out. Our body needs water to function properly. It can help not only the muscles but

clearing the fogginess from the head (even when not exercising). Please check with your

doctor. :) xx

no, i am sure its from nervous exhaustion.

Sometimes sitting or standing might affect blood pressure . You can feel dizzy or feel like blacking out. NHS might check your blood pressure to see if it is too low. It is because of too little blood reaching the brain. Iron levels might affect your breathing and make you dizzy if you have too low iron blood count. Some meds might have side effects so it is worth checking your leaflet with medicine pack.

Are you feeling better now?

Glad you are better. If you go out with a companion do you feel less anxious as sometimes people who are anxious find it difficult to go out walking alone. Sometimes going out into the cold can make your breathing tight. When cold air goes into the lungs it might make you feel dizzy and lightheaded. wearing a warm scarf over your nose and face helps me as I have a type of asthma in cold air. I have a balaclava hood which helps.

I get this too. Everytime I try to slightly exert myself with exercise I get dizzy and a big headache. I start to zone our and ultimately have to stop what I’m doing. I don’t know what the cause is but it’s only been happening since my anxiety and depression have come about. It’s also since I’ve started medication so I really don’t know what is causing it. Know you are not alone though.

I too have anxiety and depression issues so i should believe this comes from those disorders only.
