I am 43 year old man going through a rough season in my life and my depression is so deep I can barely walk through the grocery store without feeling like I want to breakdown and CRY, CRY, CRY... This is sooooo hard.....

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this — I am too, and can def understand that wanting-to-cry feeling. I feel that way now as a matter of fact.

It is so overwhelming when it creeps up. All other normal thoughts are gone and only the overwhelming dread and torment take over. It’s a battle! In fact it’s a WAR!!!

The worst part is that it creeps up out of nowhere...

Hi Coloradowalker. I’m in the midst of ECT treatments for my depression, so no I’m not feeling better. The doc just on Friday added ketamine to my drug cocktail so hopefully I’ll feel a difference in another week or so. I desperately need an injection of HOPE. Hope that there will be relief, that I will feel better, etc.

Im so sorry about you feeling like this and about your separation. Marriage can be hard, I don't know why, I feel like we make it that way. I understand what you are going through, you are not alone. When things are not well with the one you love, you feel like your heart is not even in your chest anymore, or you feel like it actually physically hurts.

Sometime it helps to write about it. Just let it all out. I feel like sometimes writing things helps figure stuff out. Give it a try.

I will keep you in my thoughts. It doesn’t take much for me to want to cry either. It is sad what we go through sometimes. Life is definitely not easy.
