Sorry that's happening to you....There are a few easy to try things that might help...

You might be having a low sugar attack. Try some food with protein like peanuts, a sandwich with meat or cottage cheese if you're not allergic to dairy.

Slow, deep breathing inhaling and exhaling, while picturing a place that you love in your mind. Just let yourself drift in the place that makes you happy. Let yourself nearly fall asleep while you do this....

Try a 20 or 30 minute walk outside in the air. Air has a relaxing, refreshing affect on the mind. If you can get some sun, so much the better.

Word games, puzzles, sudoku or anything that keeps your mind distracted can help during milder episodes.

Talking with someone is always a plus....

The supplement magnesium citrate will help with anxiety. I use 125mg gelcaps 1, up to 3 times per day. For sleep problems mag cit + 3mg of melatonin can get you to sleep. Especially when you take it with a little orange juice or eat 1/2 a banana with it. A LIGHT snack with some protein before bed can help too...

Hope you have a blessed day, my friend!

Mindfulness colouring books for adults, I was very pessimistic when my friend bought me one but actually it works, it distracts me from my racing thoughts because im too busy concentrating, if I’m out side I talk to my self( quietly) and tell myself it will pass, or I count from 100 backwards, slow breathing helps and the app calm is good, sometimes if I’m feeling really brave I just say sod it, do your worst, and this sometimes prevents its.

It’s pants but just keep thinking “this too will pass” x

Learn breathing methods ie breath in for 5 seconds slowly, hold for 5 seconds. breath out slowly to the count of 5. repeat 10 times.

my psych doctor gave me a beta blocker called propanol that I take as needed to anger/panic. It works. So does clonidine. Not sure of your age/sex. Then there are a lot of modalities - breathing exercises, bilateral stimulation, grounding exercises. All can be found on youtube.

Definitely not giving it your focus. Breathe, deeply in and out. Then try to out on some music that relaxes you, think of a place that his your "happy place", write, exercise, call a friend. Distracting yourself is key to preventing it from controlling you and drawing you into that spiral downward. Knowing your triggers are important too. That way you can begin dealing with those. Don't give up, keep pressing in and fight back! You can do it! HUGS!
