Can sympathise with your experiences-it could help if you elaborate-though I fully understand if you cant.I too many years now experienced un f air treatment and it had a very bad effect on my mental health and I actually wallked out of a job id had for many years!
I encourage you to see a therapist or reach to your pcp if you are interested in taking medication. Look up breathing techniques use lavender lotion or essential oil. Aveeno lavender lotion is good lavender is supposed to be calming .cold air is very helpful. It just depends on how much help you need and wanting
I'm here to listen and talk of needed
I come here with open arms to everyone. I need help dealing with things of that nature daily.
Journaling helps...talking to someone. Research trauma related PTSD...As a ptsd and anxiety sufferer just work on 1 day at a time
I understand that too....I'm just trying to get through the next 48 days
Thank you everyone for replies. To elaborate on my trauma. I was at work and not physically assaulted but more violated. I thought work was safe space. I was in the office and yelling for help. No one came I managed to get away. But now I am having panic attacks every morning at work. I work in Healthcare. This took everything just to write
Reporting this violation to a superior would be in order. I am so sorry this has happened. Your body automatically kicks in when you get close to the actual place this happened. That is natural. Maybe ask to be transferred?
I have battled anxiety, depression, and panic attacks for more than 25 years. Please know you are NOT ALONE. Human connections are critical. I commend you on joining this forum and sharing your story.I think you need some kind of closure to move passed this incident. You are still in it. I agree that reporting this person to HR should be in order. I think you are going to feel that same sense of dread and anxiety every morning until you take control by making a decision that helps you.
We are here for you.
My best advice is try quitting caffeinated coffee.
It might also help to take a self-defense course so you don't feel helpless.
