Hi, First off, wishing you more peace of mind. Sometimes it helps to write a list of things that need to be done, then reorder in terms of priority, then break down into doable baby steps. I don't know your specifics, but sleep is so important. Trying to keep a regular sleep routine can be helpful. Writing out all the things that stress you out in a journal can be helpful, practicing breathing techniques can be helpful (so that you signal to your body to be calm and not go into fight or flight). And when all else fails, I recommend hot chocolate made from dark chocolate shavings!!!

Sending you peace

I second SKCW. Great answer, try it out Lunazay I am sure it will help. Definitely go for chocolate in any shape or form if you still can’t find relief.

Hello- When I have plenty of tasks to do and wondering where to start, the first thing I do is make a list and set which is my priority.

Having enough sleep is also important so I can function well.

I hope you will find peace as you do all the things you need to accomplish. Praying for you, keep us posted. Take care.

I agree with SKCW. I'd just like to add, ...make a weekly routine and a daily to do list. The weekly routine will ensure you don't forget the basics when overwhelmed, the daily to do list will ensure you get some of those jobs done too.

Never expect to get more than 2-3 things done off your to do list. If it doesn't happen, it moves over to tomorrow. Whatever does happen you write in your diary, so when you look back at all your negative writing, rather than getting depressed, you reach the bottom and smile (which gives energy) because of what you did achieve. This way, when you look back, you feel positive and purposeful as although things NEVER get done as quickly as you want them too, you have a log that tells you, you never actually wasted the days away.

P.S. Add 1 thing at the end of every day that you did that made someone happy!

Happy Birthday Lunazay! Take time today to treat yourself on

this special day. Having Fibro as you do, I've learned that making

that list and seeing things crossed off really helps keep the stress down

and raises the feeling of accomplishment. You know that sleep deprivation

causes our Fibro to get worse and robs us of our vitality. I agree with SKCW

in that one project at a time in small steps is still worthwhile. Right now you

are so overwhelmed that nothing gets done and this stays on your mind all

night causing you to not sleep well. Sending you Gentle Hugs and Best Wishes xx
