Why is my mouth so dry

I haven't drunk my normal 5 bottles of water before 5pm today but i have been drinking, i had anxiety at work today because i was late even though my supervisor assured me that it was ok, on my way home from wok u had to pull over because i thought i was going to vomit because i had bad pressure on my upper abdomen which turned out to be gas from the cheeseburger i ate and now im home and my mouth is dry, and when i used to google symptoms i saw where dry mouth was a symptom of nausea as well as anxiety and decreased urination. so as embarrassing as it is, i started counting the times i went to the bathroom to see if i was truly having regular nausea rather than anxiety nausea which flared up my anxiety more. Can anyone shed light onto what is happening to me please

thank you all for your continuous support

Hi Ceaser, you sound very dehydrated which can cause several different symptoms.

Not having had the amount of water you normally drink as well as drinking (alcohol

dehydrates leaving your mouth feeling dry. The cheeseburger probably sat like a

rock on your stomach causing you to feel nauseated. Decreased urination is usually

the first sign that you are dehydrated. We can't blame anxiety on everything, sometimes

we are to blame in how we feel. :) xx Feel better soon

I'm glad you cleared that up Ceaser about it not being alcohol. However...

unless you had decaffeinated coffee and tea, having only 1 bottle of water and

20oz Coca Cola and I'm assuming regular coffee and tea, that's a lot of caffeine.

With caffeine comes dehydration, with dehydration comes dry mouth.

Getting back to drinking water tomorrow will help restore your hydration. :) xx

Are you always thirsty & peeing a lot? Perhaps always hungry too, or can eat endlessly without feeling full... Get your blood sugar checked. Just to rule out diabetes. High blood sugars will cause nausea &/or vomiting if it's been long enough to develop ketoacidosis. Don't mean to scare you, but if you really don't know what it is then you can't know what it isn't. Any Pharmacy can check your blood sugar for you.
