Need help

Hi it would be very helpful to know if people have been having issues with side effects from starting sertraline, I'm gripped with fear, unable to perform any tasks or make any decisions! ,

How long have you been taking it for? Antidepressants usually take six weeks to kick in. Hopefully the side effects will lessen. If it is too much for you then you can tell your doctor and they can try another one with you. There is no shame in trying another one. It can take time to find the right medication.

I have been on it for two weeks but feel worse than ever , but yes I have been told that It can take up to 6 weeks to feel the full benefit. Sorry I'm New to this , do I reply to all,, not really getting how this all works

You have replied to my message. Two weeks is still early but if you feel really bad I would talk to your doctor.

I’ve been on it 4 weeks and thought I felt better in afternoon but now I am as anxious as ever. Wish I could find something to help my anxiety as it’s ruining my life
