New to here

I'm new here. I feel like I'm slipping farther into a depressive state and I dont have anyone to talk to about it who understands what having depression is like. I feel self pity and then feel worse for having self pity when I know so many people go through worse situations than I'm in. It's like a never ending loop with no one who I can share myself with. I'm hoping this site can help me build a bit of a community.

Don't belittle your depression just because other people have it "worse" than you. Your depression is valid. Your mental health is valid and you are not alone. I'm glad you joined. I've found this to be a very helpful thing and I hope it helps you too. You will not be judged here. We understand. I understand ♡

We are here for you. Our feelings are not right or wrong...they are just how we "feel". We do not have to act on our feelings, yet we should acknowledge them. This is a safe, loving place to do that.
