Upping sertraline dosage

Has anyone any experiences of upping to 100mg sertraline after taking 50mg for 4 weeks and 25mg prior to that

I took sertraline a few years ago. I only upped my dosage by 25 at a time. To jump from 50 to 100 all at once sounds like a lot. What are you being treated for?

I took paroxetine for 20years for anxiety but it became less effective so my new doctor got me to taper off it over a 6 week period down to 10mg just over 6 weeks and the next day went straight onto 25mg sertraline

I was first on 25MG, then went to 50mg, and then went to 100mg, and then 200mg. But each time I was upping the dosage I was in the hospital. But I did not get any side effects for the different dosages. It was very helpful to move up from that low of a dose for me at least with the severity of my depression, and suicidal thoughts.

My doc told me 50 mg was a very small dose. I went from 50 to 100 mg without any real issues. Occaisional nausea for maybe a week but not worrisome.
