Increased side effects

Have been on 50mg sertraline for 4 weeks. Had bad anxiety for two weeks. Going to doctors today who might put the dosage up. I was wondering if the side effects increase when dosage is changed up

Sertraline put up to 100mg so hopefully will feel better soon

Ive experienced the same as you except i got switched to lexapro instead of zoloft. Sometimes you might just need a different SSRI. Are you on any benzos to help in the meantime?

Yes I have diazepam which I try not to use. I am really hoping going up to 100mg will make a difference. He wanted me to go up slowly as I stopped taking 10mg of paroxetine 6weeks ago after 20 years. So 2 weeks on 25mg then 4 weeks on 50mg now 100mg so third time lucky

What reason do you not use diazepam? I take lorazepam to help with my side effects. If it helps take it regardless. And no you wont get addicted thats just shit people say on the internet. I was on 50mg of zoloft for 3 weeks and all it did was make me worse. Im not sure what paroxetine is never heard of it.

Yes i did, i had taken it previously 2 years ago and it seemed to work. But not this time. Im on lexapro now, not bad so far but only been on it a week. 10 mg everyday.
