Hope 2 give a little Hope

I am writing this to hopefully bring a little hope to someone that needs it. For the past 3wks. I have been in a very down dark place. A couple of times I tried to end my life. My family has been affected. Days went by when I could barely move. But after talking to my doctor very honestly and lots and lots of prayer yesterday and today I feel like I am coming back to life. Today I rode my bike to the dollar tree it’s only a mile but I got outside. So if you are reading this and feel like you can’t make it another minute please talk to a professional and know that you are not alone. I know it’s hard and sucks dealing with mental health issues.

Pamela74, this brightened my morning

It's ironic after being Agoraphobic for 5 years, the first place

I drove to was the Dollar Tree An hour and a half later, I

came out of the store with a smile on my face and bags of

little treasures. I hope today is the start of you doing better.

I'm glad you're feeling better today! As Agora said, it seems like it's always one step at a time for all of us. My therapist also says it's sometimes two steps forward, one step back, heh. That's tougher to accept, but can be true for me. Hang in there!
