Switching meds

My dr said I should stop Prozac- I’ve been on it a little over 2 weeks, because still having anxiety and panic. First time in my life been on med. He put me on Celexa. Is anyone here on Celexa for anxiety/panic disorder /social anxiety?

Or has anyone having success with their anxiety switching from Prozac to Celexa?

The meds are similar, but it takes 4 to 6 weeks to feel the full effects.

Does the effectiveness time start over when you change meds? So will it take another 4-6 weeks for full effect with new one or does it pick up on the time I was on the old one?
