I am new here but definitely not to anxiety. However, over the past 4 years it has fixated on heart issues. I have been diagnosed with PVC/PAC (ectopic beats) but was told nearly everyone has them and they are benign as my heart is structurally normal.
However, yesterday I experienced a new sensation that seemed different than my usually skips. It felt like my heart was quivering almost for 3 really hard and fast beats. Then stopped for a couple normal beats then did the same thing again then it went back to normal for the day. Not sure if it was a run of ectopics or a tachycardia of some sort.
I was having such a good day until this random event. I didn’t feel anxious at all! Which is why I find it hard to believe it related to anxiety.
Has anyone all the sudden had their sensations change from the norm ?
I didn’t go to the ER because well it stopped and they would not seen anything.
This seriously takes over my life. I have 2 young kids and want to be around for them!

Hi sweetie health anxiety is very crippling I totally understand your worries my heart has been doing unusual things too like it feels it literally is beating out my chest I’ve also had the sensation you have had it was that bad at one point I thought my heart was going to explode it was going so fast and I went to the drs and nothing he said it’s normal a little fast but normal and said it’s cuz my tablets I’m on that can make it a little bit fast but he’s not worried about it anxiety can really do so many things to our bodies we think it’s not anxiety because the symptoms are so severe we think there’s something wrong but our heart does beat funny rhythm sometimes
Hi and sorry you are feeling this way. I would suggest seeing an electrophysiologist who can put you on a heart monitor for a couple of weeks. It may just be ectopics which are annoying but harmless. I developed afib shortly after having my last baby- highly unusual for a then 42 year old. There is also SVT which is fairly common in women. Neither will kill you and there are meds to help greatly. Worth knowing if there is something you can do to help. Stress is a trigger for all abnormal beats so working on that is key for me. Deep breathing and magnesium can help some people too. Hang in there you will get to the bottom
