Stress, heart attacks, high blood pressure

Has anyone had a really high resting heart beat? Mine stays kind of high. Like 120.

I think it's time to make changes to my diet.... I had healthy food though. I love love love chick fila, zaxbys, ANYTHING fried... basically everything unhealthy. It literally feels SO good eating SO unhealthy. It releases endorphins. No joke. I'm also a big stress eater. And I get stressed EASY. Lol, you guys know I'm constantly stressed over my health anxeity. I want control back over my life!

What's the point of stressing? I want to start doing better. I've heard eating healthier will contribute to better moods anyways.

I'm a little scare it's too late to start, ya know? My ole health anxiety making me think I'm going to stroke in my sleep tonight? Blegh.

I know I'm babbling. But you guys are awesome to talk to. It makes my day to see other people going through the same thing offering advice and just reassurance.

Do you think remission is possible?

That I COULD ACTUALLY take control back over my life? I feel positive now, but later I may feel different! Haha. Let's talk....

Hi. Yeah, my resting heart rate is 100 and once I’ve walked into a doctors office my heart rate can be 100-150. It’s just that we get no exercise and we’re really deconditioned. That just means we sit or lay around all day and we’re really out of shape. If we go for a 20-40 minute walk every day we will be healthier. Do it if you can. Good luck.

Yes! That's very good information. Of course I've been thinking I'm on the verge of a heart attack. Lol

I have a big fear of passing out though! So I'm very nervous to get my blood pumping 🙄 I think I'll over come this one day. Just not sure how yet.

Ivhave a fear of passing out too. It’s happened to me a few times so I’m always afraid it will again. I am afraid to go to the grocery store or out in the sun and heat which is like kryptonite to me. I don’t have the answer but I understand.

The best thing to do is to talk it over with your doctor, and start a plan of exercise that your doc approves of. Get all of your concerns addressed there, too.

I have always had a little anxiety but for the last 4 years it's really hit me. I have good and bad days but the bad days can go from minor to holy shit I'm going to die in seconds. I use music and talking with everyone on here to help me and day by day I get through it. So much so I went and bought a 51,000 dollar truck just to make me feel better and it did but i barely drive it because scared I'm gonna have a attack and dont want to hurt anyone. So yeah it's a really beautiful yard ornament. But do believe we will rebound when it's time.

Is that your resting heart rate or just when you’re getting about doing stuff. Normal resting rate is between 60-100 bpm.

I’d say start with small changes, there’s always hope. It’s never too late for change :)

Hello! 100 or higher resting heartbeat here. I'm 23 years old and its been this way for about 2 years. I've had several ekgs since then and no heart abnormalities. It just beats fast. Probably something to do with my anxiety ;)
