this has morphine in it just wondered if you knew so coming off it would cause problems I would think

Thank you. I never knew it contained morphine that probably explains the symptoms, doctors never tell you things like this, just hope I can get it out of my system soon.

I didn't know just recently I was speaking to my doctor and she put the dose up on mine by 50mg she said they have to take it slow as it contains morphine and as I say I didn't know that so makes sense really :) XX

Do you get any side effects from it?

Think your Doctor needs to go back to school, Pregabalin does NOT have morphine contained within it!

Hi Pat9, thank you for sharing that important bit of information on Lyrica.

Years ago when the doctors were throwing all kinds of meds at me, they

introduced Lyrica to the cocktail and wow, I barely remember the several

days I was on it. Now I know why. Thanks for your insight.

Hope you are doing okay. :) xx

your welcome Agora I didn't know until my doctor told me recently I think that is why it puts weight on people as it slows them down xx

Just wanted to check in on you. It looks like the withdrawal symptoms of pregabalim can be really bad. I hope you feel better soon. Sending peace and support your way.

Im sure you already have this information but here is a link on the withdraw symptoms and things to watch for.

Hi, it certainly can have nasty side effects of you are withdrawing. Speak to you GP they may be able to adjust your withdrawal regime from the medication to assist you. Keep a list of your side effects and inform your GO. Wish you luck!

hello after several years on fluoxetine and a fairly high dose of pregabalin I have decided to try without and i am finding it tough going. pregabalin is so addictive. i have been not too bad i guess over the past month. really, really itchy skin all over which is super irritating! Last couple of days I have been finding it challenging and feeling quite low today. agitated and irritable too and I have been quite teary, which the pregabalin had completely stopped. best of luck x

Hi, I know where you are coming from, I am feeling very agitated since lowering the dose. I have decided to stay on a low dose for awhile and see how things go. Unfortunately doctors are no help in matters lke this they prescribe the meds and leave you to get on with it I do hope you can feel better soon, I know its very tough deciding what to do. All the best x

Glad to hear you are feeling better. I have reduced the pregabalim down to half the dose I was taking and have upped the mirtizapine since last night. Unfortunately had a bad night feeling disorientated all night and rough today. I feel like stopping all the meds as they seem to make me feel worse. Am seeing my psychiatrist in a couple of weeks so hoping she can help sort things out. Thanks for caring!

its hard going through the withdrawal stage. all we can do is our best. i am hoping to stay med free for good but i know from past experience how tough it can be. fingers crossed for us!
