Why is it that when I lay down or sitting or even just standing still and totally relaxed I get these really hard thuds? They litterly make me jump! They scare the hell out of me. They always happen between 45 mins to 2 hours after I have a meal

You really need to tell the doctor this particularly because you have some that follow a pattern. There are a number of reasons this can happen. I don’t know your meds or lifestyle so it’s best to at least get an EKG and tell your doc when you notice it. Good luck.

I’ve had over 10 ekgs 3 echocardiogram chest X-ray and blood work and ALL came back normal witch is so frustrating. All 3 different cardios have said it’s anxiety. 😫 I’ve read it can be the “ food experience” and that got me thinking because I’m a fast eater. I’m not the type to sit relaxed and really enjoy my meal. I scarf my meals in a few bites.
Ahhhhh! You have to slow down. Count your chews. Put less on your plate. Anything to slow you down. This will eventually, if it hasn’t already, start causing you to have diarrhea when you least expect it. I make my nephew listen to quieting music while he eats. He’s a scarfer. Tell yourself before you sit down that you’ll eat in segments. Go for seconds. Best of luck to you.
