I’ve noticed that the worse my anxiety and depression are acting, the more sporadic my sleep pattern becomes. Lately, I haven’t been able to fall asleep until after 1AM and I wake up at about 12PM, sometimes 1PM. Does anyone else struggle with this? What are some things you do to help you get on a better sleep schedule?

One of the best things for me was working out during the day ( it doesn’t have to be intense, a brisk walk or jog for about 10 min) and setting a time to be in bed by that’s reasonable( I think I chose 10 o’clock). Not everything works for everybody, and honestly lately I’ve gotten out of the habits I started and my sleep is all out of wack right now. But it was working better when I stuck to it
This is my problem as well. Now that I've recovered from the episode that sent me into anxiety and depression, I am still a night owl and goo to bed at 1 or 2 or 3 and sleep late. But not as sleep during the day which I did then off and on all day. To prepare for bed early so you can just drop off helps. No TV or PC at night, relaxation and breathing exercises help me. I manage to get 7 to 8 hours and that is important.
