Hi. It's been 2 days. I quit cold turkey using Allen Carr's Easy Way to Quit Smoking. I've smoked for 30 years so this is a totally new way to exist. I'm here for prayer. That God continue to help me and succeed. Thanks! Your support means much.

That is amazing! I will pray for your continued victory💜. I quit in 1982 when my toddler was picking up my butts and pretending to smoke. It was the hardest thing Ive ever done. You can are are doing this! Congratulations🌟

Well done! I too quit smoking by going cold turkey. I was smoking anything up to 60 a day and I was only in my early twenties. We were then told we could no longer smoke in the office. As we were 7 floors up I really couldn't be arsed with the trip to the outdoor smoking point so I literally stopped overnight. It can be done, like anything, but you have to truly want to. Good luck my friend and be strong - YOU CAN NAIL IT

Gosh I’m proud and jealous of you. What does he say to do? I have infection so reading is hard for me long periods. What does he say to do about cravings

If you truly want to stop then do it. Throw everything away. I did it 28 years ago and stopping never bothered me. I have always been around smokers, I never restarted. I don't remember getting cravings, but I would use a sensible distraction technique. Maybe climb the stairs a couple of times and realise how much easier it gets as your lungs start to recover. Do something outside and realise your sense of smell is improving. You can do it, you really can xx

Hi. He has the audiobook online for $10. It's about 3.5 hours long. Craving are viewed as starving the little nicotine monster so it's almost enjoyable. Really put me in good state of mind to just quit and be done already. No more games with self. Just had Denny's and a cig would normally be but instead I'm taking really slow deep breaths. It's working. I feel like I got it this time. Lotsa fails over years but this time is different. I have 2 kids 9 and 10 so I don't want to be dead at 59 like my own Dad of lung cancer. Thanks for your reply. :)

So proud of you. I smoked because of no kids lol & then divorce & injury. Don’t let yourself go back suddenly you’re old and it takes away so much I shoulda stayed quit in my 30’s. You go for it. Seriously proud inspiring me that through i screwed up it can get better.

You can do it!! I did after smoking two packs per day for 25 years. I quit eight years ago and never looked back. I dream about it sometimes but I would choke to death if I tried to smoke now. So worth it!

I have gone since January 16th without nicotine though it has been testing at times. Depression, work etc but somehow I have coped not even had ecig as a replacement or anything from dr just willpower and knowing I am £40 a month better off moneywise and health wise.
