Tramadol vs Venlafaxine/Sertraline🤔🤔

So im like wondering if i should just stop taking my Venlafaxine 🤔🤔. Yeah i know its best to talk to GP. Last time i stopped meds, i went S and nearly got sectioned. I find #Venlafaxine much better than #Sertraline. But im convinced they enhance my nightmares and dreams. I would have liked #Tramadol really, as i had them for pain control. a couple of years ago. Found they were not adequate for my pain, but put me in happy mood to deal with the pain. I have a new surgery now, and a new GP. Maybe after Thursdays visit to my Gender Dr in Exeter, it will give my mind the release it needs, as its 99% that ill get my referral to meet surgeons. But i have to have Phsych appts coming , to deal with a deep fears ans scars too. Im not scared anymore of being physically or verbally abused. But i still have issues that a lot of people will still think of me based on my genitals, and assume im some sort of weirdo 😱😱Need that surgery like soooon. But maybe some happy pills are the way to go rather than mood suppressors, Im totally wondering if anyone gets Tramadol for #depression, #anxiety and body dysmporphia. Does it help be in a happier mood? I don't seem to have panic attacks anymore❤️💪🦄🧚‍♀️

Care and hugs to all, we must never feel alone 💪💜, even if we just talk to the Unicorn under the bed 🦄👍

the brain does not distinguish what's real and what isn't. I have a vivid imagination and although venlafaxine helps with pain it's nowhere near as effective as tramadol. For me Tramadol makes me completely loopy, i have to write everything down in terms of dosage. I would recommend consulting doctor and try a lower dose for a few weeks of the venlaflaxine rather than doing a cold turkey and ending up in a place you'd rather not be. I now manage my pain mostly through exercise and meditation but it did take me 5 years of constant practice to get there. I wish you well with whatever decision you take.

Please be very careful about reducing Venlafaxine. The withdrawl symptoms can be very, very bad if your reduce it too quickly - nausea, vomiting. It's bad. Please don't go it alone.
