Behaving like this is usually the hallmark of an alcoholic. is he trying to get off the booze and is he accepting any help for this? If not and he is in denial then there is not much you can do except to protect yourselves. if you feel you are all in danger then you need to get out of this abusive relationship asap. Do you have any family/friends who could help you to escape? x

Well he either has to stop the drink or stop the tablets! Some meds you just can't drink on and it sounds like those are the ones he takes. x

Jani , I am sorry .

I am sure you know dangerous it is to drive when you are drunk ! Please keep yourself and your daughter safe . Don’t get in the car with him .

Seek help of friends and family or an organization in your area .

Addiction tramples anyone in its path. When you love someone suffering, it can feel like a roller coaster ride. It’s completely normal to feel a range of emotions. Do you have a strong support system? It is best to have a safe place to go when needed. I don’t know if you pray, but prayer is very helpful during these times. Hang in there; don’t lose heart. Reach out to those around you for support and guidance.

I’m sorry for your pain & suffering Jani67.

I experienced this with my ex-husband (minus the medication but plus drugs).

It turned scary and abusive.

I was left with deep mental/emotional wounds, PTSD, and 9 year long protective order.

Please stay safe ✨
