Can chronic fatigue cause 'chronic' breathlessness?

Hi guys. Not sure this is the right place for a chronic fatigue related question, but here goes.

I've suffered extreme breathing issues now for almost a year. Had every test you can think of and.. no explanation.

I'm due a General Medicine FU on Wednesday where the consultant is probably going to refer me on to the chronic fatigue team. I asked him last time, 'can this explain my breathing issues?', to which he replied 'no, probably not'.

At this point, I'm going to ask for a referral to neurology, as I believe I'm also struggling with FND but before I start kicking up a fuss, I wanted to check whether any of you guys suffering with chronic fatigue/ME also have 24/7 breathing problems that worsen on exertion?

Could it be the other way round........ Breathing problems causing the fatigue?

Have you had lung tests done and any breathing tests?
