Write a better ending

I don't like where my story is heading. Let's write a better one. Let's disregard all previous chapters. Here and now is all that matters. I'll build my character from nothing. I am not a tragic tale. Neither am I defined by yesterday. I am a man with the power to create endless years of love and laughter. Why waste away any longer? Why decay in grief and pain? Today I choose to write back better ending.

Sometimes I feel terrible, thinking I’ve messed up my life beyond repair with my own bad choices. It’s sometimes hard to remember that *everybody* has some difficulties and problems in life - just because somebody else looks like their life is perfect, that does not mean it is.
