Write your achievements. Some inspiration.

Firstable - Had some technical issues and that's why I was replying late and slowThen i found something that really helps. I'm really insecure and think anxiety has disabled me. I overthink what i have done wrong. But then i thought "hey, i have done much more while struggling". Went to an exam today. Surprisingly i studied and slept. I have poor time management and sleep schedule and this is a miracle i slept on time naturally. I could have done better but my friend appeared out if nowhere and she was out of herself. So back to main point - studied, slept, went to exam, cooked, cleaned. Yeah i was late but i still went. And I messed up cleaning and now it smells weird but i tried. Later i will try to go to yoga. I want to sleep but im trying to repair my sleep schedule and also work out and do other stuff that i missed to do when sleeping at day. Sorry it's distorted, my head is distorted. Perhaps my exam too 😶

Against_the_current, the best way to seek inspiration as to achievements

one got in life is to view YouTube. There are multiple videos on Motivational

speeches from people known across the world. Not everyone is born with a

golden spoon in their mouth no matter where they live. Oh of course, some

people may be born into a family of wealth and success but achieving this on

your own for your own purpose is what life is about.

Just one of the videos I'm talking about on YouTube is

"Jim Carrey leaves the audience speechless/one of the best

Motivational speeches ever"

Give it a try and if you are inspired as I am, I will send you more to

listen to. We learn from others but only if we believe and work at it :) xx

Thanks. Tbh I actually tend to get a bit scared of these videos thinking "these people are so successful when they had nothing, i will never be there". But my own achievements give me a new feeling. The feeling of achievement, no matter self or others, is really nice and different from my usual feelings - anxiety and depression. Jim is fun, might check him out :) xx

All those are major accomplishments for anyone. I am happy that you are able to see that you have in you the strength to help a friend and get to exams and take the tests, to remember that you have indeed done so much while struggling. I know these feelings — of despair and of accomplishment — come and go, so we'll be here for you when things get harder, but we're also here to say "Good for you!" on recognizing what yo have achieved and will continue to achieve. This is a huge step forward and I am so proud of you. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Thank you so much! Thank you for being here for me in good and bad. I really appreciate it

Hi,I commend you for doing all that! Well done!👍👍👍

I'm not sure if I've shared this with you yet. This is a post I wrote 10 months ago on controlling ruminations. I thought you might like to check it out:

What a cool idea to have us list our achievements. I imagine doing so would be of help, so here's mine:

-I survived last year!

-I went to my Mahjong group yesterday and had a great time!

-I went ice skating yesterday and had a great time!

-I'm going to book club for the first time tomorrow and am looking forward to it!

That's great! And i really appreciate the post because im ruminating rn

in reply toAgainst_the_current

You're very welcome! It takes practice. I was given the info more than 1/2 a year ago and am still having trouble (meaning that I think about the techniques only after I've ruminated to the max. It's not fun lol).
