Seasonal Depression?

Does anyone notice that their depression gets worse during a certain time of year? For me it seems like it gets worse this time of year until the fall. And I mean it gets bad! I cannot think of a reason I would be down right now but for the last 3 years my depression at this time is unbearable.

Yes. During this Easter bank holiday weekend I’ve felt so low, partly because it’s a bank holiday they seem to affect me negatively and the weather has been so hot for the time of year, I take time to adjust to this weather as there are a lot more people around and just the general feelings around summer, it feels like I’m expected to be happier, because all I seem to hear are people saying they feel better when the weather is good..it takes me time to adjust to it all and initially I feel low about it..

Yes I used to get summer depression. I think it’s better now because I keep myself busy. But yes holidays and time off can trigger depression.LD

hi I love the darker nights better everything in life seems quieter.come summer I love getting into the countryside being in a large town/city makes people drink more and more trouble seems to happen and that's how I dread long spells of good weather.
