Where would be the best place to go online for someone suffering with social anxiety, health anxiety and panic attacks please?

(Not after book recommendations at this point but maybe later)

This app has been a go to for me for support, anonymous self expression, to relate & for great information/resources.

Moodpath is another app that has been helpful. It assists you with tracking your moods & feelings throughout the day, asks you questions, gives you great insights & tools, & generates a biweekly letter that can be printed and brought to a therapist or counselor/just for your records.

Meetup is another app and website that is wonderful for meeting new people and trying new things. There are groups and events available all over the US! And even groups specifically for people struggling with Social Anxiety (at least in my area).

Insight Timer is another app that is wonderful to help combat symptoms of anxiety through meditations, guided meditations, and thousands of different groups. (I like the Gratitude one & post my gratitudes daily.)

If you have insurance (or 💵), Dr On Demand is a great app for finding a Doctor or Psychologist/Psychiatrist that you can speak to/have appointments with in real time. They can also prescribe medications if need be.

Good luck on your journey & I hope this is helpful ✨🍀

Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

It’s really helpful.

I’ve found this group particularly supportive over the last 18 months or so that I’ve been a member too.

Insight Timer I’ve used for meditation as well.

The moodpath one sounds interesting with the tracking capability.

I’ll check them out x

I’m so glad that I could be helpful!

Thank you for your thoughtful reply as well.

It’s great that this app & Insight Timer have worked for you!

I hope Moodpath will be helpful too if you decide to check it out.

Take care! ✨

To be 100% honest I’m asking in order to support someone else, although I have found some of these tools personally useful.

I remember several posters mentioning Claire Weekes being useful for anxiety and I think it might help the person I know. It’s just there’s a lot of CW and I was after some direction about which resources people had found to be of use x
