New and need advice.

Hi. New here. I have anxiety, depression, and panic attacks - probably the same as most here. My question is what's the best meds to ask for when I see the Dr. And what do you do when in the middle of an anxiety attack? Thanks for any help I can get.

Welcome. I take lexapro 10mg. It works for me most of the time but I don’t think any pill is a miracle cure. Take care.

Thanks. Got my nerve up and asked for my drug list. I use to take lexepro but it was removed. So I guess I'll ask for that to start. Hopefully it will help. Thank you.

During an attack, slow your breathing and be deliberate about it. Then try to engage all of your senses - take a walk or a shower, and pay attention to how everything feels and smells. As for the meds - it's different for everyone and your doctor will no doubt have suggestions. I am using Zoloft and Ativan.
