So I’ve suffered with depression/anxiety most of my life and have been on meds for a long time. I had my daughter 6 months ago, then fell into severe depression, now anxiety is hitting me hard.
Today I’m feeling down but could be pms. Doctor wants me to take welbutrin instead of adderral in the morning but I’m scared. I already take Paxil abilify at night.
More support please.

Make sure you let your psychiatrist know about this if you have one and I’m hoping your OB/GYN knows the meds your already on as well but they don’t have much knowledge in the area of mental health like a psychiatrist does.
I am so sorry you are going through this. I am no doctor, but I do remember mine telling me that it may some time to find the right fit for my body chemistry, so it may be that you will have to try a few more medicines that are a right fit for you. If a psychiatrist is handling this, then as long as he/she knows what medications you are taking, he/she will be monitoring which ones work together and which do not. Make sure you let the dr. know each prescription you are taking and the amount. Also, it can be really helpful to go into your appointment with a list of questions. Hugs to you. I know the anxiety and depression is so hard. You are not alone.
