Anxiety without a racing heart?

Has anyone experienced this? I am such an anxious person, but there are times where my body feels extremely anxious (muscle tightness, pain etc) but my heart seems to be beating at a regular pace.

That of course propels my health anxiety- “see you DO have MS, you can’t be anxious if your heart isn’t racing” 🙄☹️

I suffer from anxiety also. Sometimes my heart is racing , and other times it's not. I don't know how you made the connection between anxiety and MS.

All the time! After a year of panic and racing heart I have it under control. I don't check my heart rate any longer and know it's just hypersensitive nerves and negative thoughts. I can still get anxious but keep my heart rate at a normal beat. My symptoms are stiff neck, sore ribs in the heart area and upset stomach. Sounds like you're progressing well through your anxiety. Keep up the great work. Get your physical done and check ups to prove you're healthy. Use that info to reinforce positivity and health into your thoughts. Go enjoy your life and do something different each week.
