Who can you count on?

In times of great despair, it can be easier to see who is really & truly there for us.

The realization may be painful.

The obvious may not be so obvious & you may even be surprised.

I know I was.

My greatest lows have revealed a new set of eyes & a new understanding.

It’s sad & also extremely validating.

I’m so thankful for the very small number of people that I can count on in my life, specifically & mainly My Amazing Wife.

Interacting with this community has provided me with a safe place & it’s nice to feel like I can count on that too.

My husband is also extremely supportive but I don't want to burden him with my emotional issues and I'm afraid he's getting tired of it. I've been cranky to be around lately.

And I get that... I too worry about burdening My Wife at times. But she always assures me that that’s never the case even though I can be a big cranky pants too.

Do you find you hide some of your anxiety when you're with her? I try to pretend I'm doing fine but it's so fucking tiring.

Regarding my name, I tried many other cuss words but none were available :D. I guess I'm not the only frustrated one with life.

We’re very open plus she can read me like a book. But I like it this way.

Pretending to do anything is exhausting.

Keep the lines of communication open as much as you can in a moment.
