Welcome to the site! Everyone here is great!
What strategies have you tried to use? I found medication and therapy to be helpful with my GAD.
thank you for replying! i've weaned off clonazepam, so i could take pain meds, while waiting to wrap my mind around having knee replacement surgery. i've tried all sorts of meds, in the "pam" family. they are no longer helpful. i'm going to try acupuncture. i hope it helps. my level of anxiety is over the top at times. i'm sure you can understand. i look forward to getting to know everyone, and to get more coping skills. it will be nice to have other people to talk to who understand how debilitating this is!
Have you had your knee replacement ?
Have you tried using a TENS Machine, that may help with pain before and after treatment

hi! no, not yet. i've been putting it off for years...i'm a post liver transplant recipient, and the "s" word still scares me (ptsd). i've heard of the machine you are talking about, but no one has ever recommended it to me. is this a dr. thing, where they don't want to tell you there are alternatives? i've had cortisone injections, not helpful. i even tried the gel injections which were also not helpful.
Sometimes the Doctor will await the recommendations of a Specialist before recommending a new bit of kit. If you consider the machine ask your Doctor has any recommendations. regarding this stimulator
Sometimes Pelvic Floor exercises will work well, as we get older things do not work as well. I do not have this machine, although I need to consider a new TENS.
All you can do is ask, Nothing wrong with that
thanks!
