Could you go back to the doctors and tell them you are still very low and not coping and see if there is more that they can do?

It helps to talk it through and be heard sometimes.

Samaritans freefone 116123 or call 111 for advice or even 999 if you feel you are not safe, or go to an a&e department...

Hi I am so sorry about the loss of your wife and no wonder you are feeling so bad. I get where you are coming from as I think many of us have been there before.

What I will say is do you think your wife would want you to kill yourself? No of course she wouldn't, she would want you to eventually be able to move on and find happiness again. That's what you must work towards so please seek help. I am not religious but I do believe she has become your guardian angel now and is looking out for you.

This is a very good online support group but we are not professionals, we can only be your friend and talk to you, which we willingly do. We lost one of our own recently by this method and we are all gutted, so please don't do this to us again. You have contacted us now and we care very much about you and will do our very best to help.

Do you feel able to talk more to us and share? x
