Does Social Anxiety disorder has a cure?

Hi. I just want to know if there's someone else who suuffers this sickness. Thank you.

There seems to be more and more people being diagnosed with it now days, not sure there is a cure but think people are taught how to mange it, with medication and also they seem to say getting out and about into social situations helps you to get over it.

Most of us want to run from social situations when you have this disease but we just end up staying in the same place when we do that. hope this helps

I think the best thing is to expose yourself to your fear in small doses. Keep doing small things that make you uncomfortable. Your body and mind will realise that nothing bad is going to happen to you, then you can take bigger steps.

Not saying there won’t be setbacks but I find the best way to overcome something is to get out and do it, step out of your comfort zone.
