How long does this brain fog last on Ativan? I can take the muscle aches, the upset stomach, even the tremors. The brain fog is in a class of its own. Ugh! I’m fighting!

What’s also crazy is when I come out of the brain fog, I feel as normal as I felt before I started taking the Ativan. Go figure! But it’s on and off.

funny thing, I took Ativan and it didn't work! I had no reaction to it at all. It amazes me how one drug can effect so many people differently. I hope your pains go away soon.

Whoa those are some bad side effects I've not heard of from Ativan. If you haven't reported those side effects to your Doc, you need to! You need to report the fog as well. For me, mild fog lasts around 16 hours. Of course right after taking the med the fogginess can last about 4 hrs...but that's expected. It is a heavy anxiety med. It takes awhile to get out of your system. Drink a lot of water.
