I never studied medicine so I can’t answer your inquiry with any precision. I would see your doctor and explain the symptoms to them. It could be something as simple as a migraine or sinus infection.

Mike, you do need to get this checked out. You can either go to the ER or make an

appointment with your doctor. But it does need to be looked into. My best xx

I'm glad you have upcoming dr appointments. We'd do you an injustice if we started

guessing. Trust in a professional who knows your health history and will look into it

further. Good Luck Mike. Let us know the outcome. We care xx

Have you taken anything for this?

Hi Mike 7777, it would be a good idea to have a professional check you over with those symptoms. I, myself, have suffered from multiple concussions and eventually a mini-stroke or two; however, I do have a team of docs who keep: my head, heart, lungs, etc. from getting worse. I hope this reply helps. Definitely-go to a hospital or ER with someone so you can get some help with your brain. 🇺🇸

God morning Mike. I have mild headaches sometimes too. My Dr said it was stress. When this happens I take a muscle relaxer called methocarbonal. After a couple of days the headaches subsided. What we are battling with causes stress. I pray you feel better. I'm getting ready to go walk 4 miles. TTYL. stay encouraged

I have the same thing! I felt like I wrote this lol I went to the doctor plus the ER for the same thing and they ordered up a CT scan and didn’t see anything at all. I would definitely have your blood pressure checked along with your sugar levels, go for walks that does help! If all these comeback normal praise the lord! Then we know it’s stress and anxiety and that is something we have to figure out and try our hardest to control easier said then done trust me I know! Good luck!

Are you on any medication?

uniquediamond profile image
uniquediamond in reply toMike7777

No I’m not. I’m the type of person that wants to try everything naturally first before I try any pills from a doctor, and the reason for that is because 12 years ago I was a walking Guinea pig for doctors meaning they would write me prescription after prescription in hopes that one would work. I finally said nope I’m done! Now I focus on vitamins and weight loss, definitely eating a lot better and meditation seems to really help at night.

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply touniquediamond

I do all that you mentioned as well but medication does help.

uniquediamond profile image
uniquediamond in reply toMike7777

Sometimes people find the right one. I’m glad your one of them, me on the other hand it was effecting me with the side effects more then anything.

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply touniquediamond

Yea everything has side effects lol, evrryones different but if medication can eventually help theres no point in suffering in ones life everyday

uniquediamond profile image
uniquediamond in reply toMike7777

No I’m talking about a lot of side effects that weren’t good. And yea I know it does lol and I tried 4 different pills and I finally said I’m tired of it. And yea sometimes people find the one that helps and that’s awesome

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply touniquediamond

Yea i had bad side effects but i think depending on what type of meds sometimes they can make things worse before it gets better so your body just has to adjust. Mainly with antidepressant and brain function drugs. I still have a bit side effects but im fighting thru it.

uniquediamond profile image
uniquediamond in reply toMike7777

You keep fighting through it and you’ll be fine! Remember one thing mind over matter. How do you sleep? That’s another battle I have is the sleeping part.

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply touniquediamond

I sleep ok. I usually take melatonin or i am on ativan a very low dose. That helps. But ive always struggled with sleep. Not eating late helps as well.

uniquediamond profile image
uniquediamond in reply toMike7777

Yea that was one of my struggles among many. “Food” I would eat my stress and depression. But I’ve made a lot of changes there and that seems to help with a lot of head pressure and body pains and aches, thank goodness! What do you do to pass time? What helps you not focus on the stuff running through your head?

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply touniquediamond

Umm i mean its hard. I do school work, play games, go outside occasionally or just busy work. I am tired all the time lately but i think its just my meds.

uniquediamond profile image
uniquediamond in reply toMike7777

I’m tired 24/7 also, which I think it’s stress mainly. What grade are you in?

What meds?

Mary-intussuception profile image
Mary-intussuception in reply toMike7777

I thought you said in another post that you weren't taking any medication.

Are you taking any multi-minerals or multi-vitamins ?

No one on here can diagnose.

Did you contact the Haematology Department?

Are you waiting to see a Neurologist as well as Haematologist and Gastroenterologist?

If you have these symptoms now then I would strongly suggest you go to ER.

Never neglect double vision and head pain.

Do you have any jaw claudication?

Check your print out ftom your blood tests and see if you had CRP ( C-Reactive Protein ) tested. If you did was result in range or raised ?

ps

I don't understand the symptoms of 'brain twitches" ? How would someone know their brains is "twitching "?

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply toMary-intussuception

Yes im waiting for all appointments, my reactive protein is normal. I went to the er about a month ago and they didnt find anything. I havent had a ct scan of my head recently. But have before.

Mary-intussuception profile image
Mary-intussuception in reply toMike7777

Was the test CRP or C-RP ?

If you have double vision and stiff neck now - then you can go your ER now.

What do you mean by 'brain twitches'?

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply toMary-intussuception

I dont remember ill have to check next time i talk to my doc or the nurse. I think c-rp

Mary-intussuception profile image
Mary-intussuception in reply toMike7777

If that's not raised then I suppose it rules out Temporal Arteritis / Giant Cell Arteritis. When was the test done?

I would still go to the ER now

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply toMary-intussuception

A couple weeks ago. I mean i dont want to go to the er then them find nothing. Sometimes the er takes a VERY long time and i dont wanna go to have them tell me nothing but i still have considered it. I wish i could get in to my appointments sooner though.

Mary-intussuception profile image
Mary-intussuception in reply toMike7777

Could you be experiencing side effects of something you're taking ? Medication / supplements / herbal ?

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply toMary-intussuception

Possibly the meds. Lexapro 10mg, ativan only .25mg-.5mg. Idk though.

Mary-intussuception profile image
Mary-intussuception in reply toMike7777

May I suggest you read the Patient information leaflet. Or Google search the side effects for each one:.

Dizziness

Headaches

Blurred vision

Muscle weakness

Insomnia

Balance

etc . . .

I would see your GP asap and discuss all this. See about gradually coming off these meds. See if symptoms improve.

Always read the Patient information leaflet, and keep for future reference in case any new symptom occur.

You still haven't said what you mean by 'brain twitches'.

Is your double vision constant? Yes I have all these symptoms. The eyesight seems to get worse by the day.

I've had opthamology exams, brain mri, the lot.

Nothing found.

Did you ever have any luck?

Mike7777 profile image
Mike7777 in reply toGiop

Nope no luck lol. All i know is that antidepressants made everything worse
