Night sweats

Anyone else have issues with night sweats from medication? Do they go away? I started Paxil a month ago and I wake up once a night sweating, no other issues. On a positive note my anxiety is getting under control. 🎉 it’s nice to have the break. But ofcourse I always worry about side effects from medication.

I used to have night sweats, but I haven't had any in a while. I think I was taking Paxil at the time too.

I had night sweats with Paxil and I hated it, made my overall anxiety worse. I stopped it immediately. Glad your anxiety isn’t as bad though

hi busyman,im on sertraline 100 mg its agood med but for one thing,night swets,its like

a cold swet kind of cold turkey swet.lukerly I live alone,in my bedroom I have 2 sets

of every thing,so usually in the middle of night im changing bedclothes,its a thing if you

want somwere near normal life you've got to put up with,so busyman meet another busyman chanching bedding evey night,hope it helps knowing somone else has swets

Yes, I get them from Wellbutrin, but not every night. I've been taking it for 2 years, so I'm not sure why it only happens periodically. Yours may go away after a while since it's only been a month.

I took paroxetine (generic paxil) for years and I had bad night sweats for about the first 3 months. It did go away it's just a case of whether you can put up with it till then and if the benefit you get from the medication is worth it. If it's really bad still in another few weeks you could try discussing it with your doctor.

Yes, I have night sweats from meds. But sometimes I wonder if they're hot flashes from taking hormones. Not pleasant, whatever the cause.
