I'm going through change. I'm at the top now. The future seems bright. My job is great, my life is stable, and the doors keep opening for me. Things seem surreal sometimes. The tables are turning. All of the people I used to envy now feel below me. They are the broken. They are the desperate. Time after time I have watched my idols fall. It doesn't feel right. I should be happy, but I am not. Watching others from where I am is not very easy. I see my old self in them. I see the hurt. I have the last laugh now, but I'll never use it. You don't know what others are going through until you've been there yourself. Change is here for me now but I'll never forget where I came from.
